1 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoons of milk

2 teaspoons light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Food coloring

In a bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk until well blended. Add the corn syrup and almond extract and beat until mixture is glossy. Extra corn syrup can prevent it from being too thick.

Probably the simplest way to acquire winter wedding cookies is to buy cookie dough already complete with a holiday shape inside. They are cheap, simple, and perfectly represent the holidays.  It is up to you how you want to thank your guests, and cookies are certainly a great start.
